Homemade Rice Cracker Recipe

I’m super excited to share with you today’s recipe. I made these delicious rice crackers at home on Tuesday and I am still munching on them. My recommendation is not to add any salt or sweetness to it. By skipping those ingredients you actually have a more versatile snack. I have been eating them with hummus and bean spread but you can also add some peanut butter, almond butter, bananas, strawberries, you name it. This is why the recipe is so great, you can have it with anything salty or sweet, whatever you feel like at the moment you want to snack these are perfect for it.

Another reason why I love making crackers at home is that I control the ingredients I put into it. I have been cutting added oil and reducing the amount of salt I consume because of high cholesterol. I hope by the time my bloodwork appointment comes around I will be proud of myself for taking care of my own health.

Making these rice crackers is great and fall into so many categories, in case you follow a very specific eating pattern, for example, they are gluten-free, so if you suffer from celiac disease or are intolerant or allergic to gluten, you have a great snack here. Also by adding chia seeds, you are adding even more nutrition. Thinking of all those things help make balanced meals and snacks that will keep you full throughout your day.
